ESSENTIALLY NEW LARGE-ANGLE HIGH DEFLECTING FREQUENCY LASER BEAM SCANNING SYSTEM (LALS)
We’d like to present two inventions “Method of large-angle high deflecting frequency laser beam scanning system for transmission and receiving video- and other images and device for its realization” and “Method of creation of 3D color virtual video image and device for creation of effect of virtual reality for user”, which can be applied to laser video and TV projection, creation of 3D color virtual video image with effect of virtual reality for user, display technologies, laser copying, scanning and printing systems, laser security, night vision and navigation systems, and to other laser systems. LALS MAIN TECHNICAL ADVANTAGES. Changeable scan angle: 30–180° (depends on the laser beam deflecting frequency), resonant (deflecting) frequency: 0.5 – 16.0 kHz and more, small dimensions and weight (see below), simple and low cost architecture, long lifetime – not less than 100 000 hours.
SHORT DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION. Method and device of LALS are realized in result of resonant generation of transverse oscillations of two oscillating plates (resonators) with different densities, connected in series. The second plate (resonator), which has lower density and laser reflecting surface, being in the mode of resonant oscillation, deflects falling laser beam in accordance with parameters, shown below. LALS can be applied as to line and to frame laser deflection.

INVENTION PROTECTION. Patent applications on the inventions "Method of large-angle high deflecting frequency laser beam scanning system for transmission and receiving video- and other images and device for its realization" and “Method of creation of 3D color virtual video image and device for creation of effect of virtual reality for user” have been submitted to the Russian Patent Office (Rospatent) by two individuals in October 2006 and in January 2007. Patent applications have been published. PCT patent applications have been submitted in October 2007. Rospatent has adopted resolution on issue of the Russian patent on the invention "Method of large-angle high deflecting frequency laser beam scanning system for transmission and receiving video- and other images and device for its realization" in January 2008.
